STUNTED
Portrayed Celine
Written by Christine Fang (me!)
Directed by Haonan Wang
Written from a place of gratitude for my healing friendships with gay men who have made me feel safe and expansive, giving me the space and love to explore my story and be the weird little alien demon child that I am and for codependent relationships that held me tight, lifted me up, and broke me down.
WHEN THE PERSON YOU LEAN ON BECOMES THE PERSON YOU HAVE TO LEAVE BEHIND.
A 60-minute two-hander, Stunted follows two housemates who could not be more different—yet somehow, are deeply entwined. What begins as a familiar domestic rhythm reveals itself as something far more fragile: a codependent bond stretched to its breaking point.
Running at one-hour, STUNTED was staged at Camden People's Theatre in London
as part of the Camden Fringe.
